In Elden Ring, you will have to sprint, which means travelling faster than the normal speed on many occasions, whether you want to reach your destination quickly, escape traps, fight enemies and much more

If you have played previous FromSoftware games, you must know that it's not a new mechanic; however, if Elden Ring is the first FromSoftware game that you are playing, you can follow the guide below to understand how to sprint in Elden Ring.

How to sprint and run faster in Elden Ring

Sprinting in Elden ring can be quite tricky, and in order to do this, you will have to press and hold the circle button in PS4 and PS5, while on the Xbox, you will have to keep holding B. Apart from this, you can sprint in PC by holding the space bar on your keyboard. However, make sure that your character is running while you press the required button; otherwise, instead of sprinting, your character will dodge.

Also, unlike the previous Souls games, sprinting will not consume your stamina if you will keep holding the button. Sprinting is a viable option while you are in a fight; however, if you want to travel from one place to another on the huge map of Elden Ring, we suggest you to unlock fast travel in the game or summon Torrent.

You can also use sprinting while on Torrent which gives you enormous speed in the game and one more that you need to keep in mind is that you can't use items while at a full-tilt sprint.

Elden Ring is now available on all platforms including PC, Xbox and PlayStation and you can have a look at the trailer one of the best games ever below.
